That was actually one of the weirdest changes when I got back to the Northern Hemisphere, I spent so much more time camping that I got used to upside down Orion and the arm of the Milky Way.

Which, incidentally, really puts your world in perspective.

Anyway, neat-o picture.

Yeah, neat picture, but I don't understand.

1) I thought the southern hemisphere always saw a different part of the sky to us.

2) The view of starts rotates anyway, we see orion 'upside down' over here too, surely?

1) Half and half. They get to see the arm of the Milky Way more clearly, but not a completely different sky.

2) On his side, I think you can, but not upside down.

I like pretending to be an expert.
