As you fill in the options, you may get a chance to move off-screen, to another 'themed box' - see the 'mini-map' thing in the top left of the screen.

How far can you get ? It's possible for people to merge together their correct answers. I include my current state below, but don't click here until you've played the game yourself for a while! :

Copy-Pasted from elsewhere :

There are only two ways you have of interacting with the game: typing into the text box and clicking on the minimap.

Each rectangle is a vertex. Edges (lines) connect vertices that are somehow related.

Vertices you've reached are green. Vertices you can guess are brown. Theme vertices are purple.

Each dot in the brown vertices corresponds to a letter. Use them to guide your search. On the other hand, most vertices have many acceptable answers. For example, if the answer is "salt & pepper," the answers "salt" and "pepper" may sometimes work on their own.

Case does not matter. When typing in your guesses, upper and lower case letters are treated the same. Michael Jackson is the same as mIchAEl jAcksOn.

Case matters. Look closely at the way vertices are displayed. SPAM is meat product, and spam is unwanted email. Don't get fixated on just one meaning.

Each cell has a theme vertex in the middle. When you reach the border of one of the 9 center cells, the cell's theme vertex will be shown to help guide you.

When trying to guess a vertex, look at the vertices it is connected to, but also don't forget to look at the ones it is not connected to.

If you are looking for a neighbour of "Black Sabbath", try both "black" and "sabbath", not just "Ozzy Osbourne".

If you have the "cow" vertex, and its neighbours are of the form ".... ...", then the second word might be "cow".

Bold dots in unknown vertices represent letters. And I do mean letters.

If you see a | symbol, as in "....|.....", then both "...." and "....." will be accepted as correct answers.

Clue vertices are yellow. There is one in each corner. When you get all 4, each of your subsequent guesses will be checked against the meta-puzzle answer, as well as the brown vertices. When you solve the meta-puzzle, you win.

To solve the meta-puzzle, put the two left ones together and get something red. Add the top-right and get into the right state. Then add the last clue and you will win.

Spoiler (Click here to reveal) :
